Le collectif Freskolab s’est formé en 2019 autour des artistes Delphine Frantzen, Roman Balthazart (aka Balzar) et Luka Rakol. Fort de son expérience dans le domaine des commandes publiques, le collectif est déterminé à saisir sur les murs les questions de société et le pouvoir de l’imaginaire, dans un dialogue ouvert avec les habitants.

Over ons

Het collectief FreskoLab werd in 2019 opgericht door de Brusselse kunstenaars Delphine Frantzen, Roman Balthazart (aka Balzar) en Luka Rakol. Het collectief, dat kan steunen op deze ervaring op het gebied van openbare opdrachten, wil maatschappelijke kwesties en de kracht van de verbeelding op muren weergeven, waarbij de lokale verankering van de fresco’s ter harte wordt genomen.

Freskolab collective was created back in 2019 by Brussels artists Delphine Frantzen, Roman Balthazart (aka Balzar) and Luka Rakol. With its experience in the field of public comissions, the collective is keen to continue depicting social issues and bringing to light the power of imagination in the public space, taking to heart the local anchoring of the frescoes.
